Free housing is available for students in the turf program. The housing on the property will be available to the intern/interns year round while attending Rutgers University turf program with the understanding that while not in school, the intern/interns will work at Shackamaxon Golf & Country Club. Lunch and dinner will be provided to the intern/interns during the golfing season and only lunch is provided in the months of January and February. Shackamaxon CC is approximately 10 miles from the campus. An intern at Shackamaxon CC will have hands on experience in all aspects of golf course maintenance throughout the season.
